These are sold live in-shell and are often eaten whole (more like a clam than a typical scallop).
Minimum harvest size is 2″ shell length — most range 2.5″ — 3.5″
Typically shipped once per week (Monday or Tuesday), weather permitting as always.

This is a heavily sorted/graded product — only unpunctured barnacles of top quality and size will be shipped.
Availability is highly dependent on tides and swell conditions. Shipments are typically sent out on Monday-Wednesday every week or every other week. Timing can be flexible.

Swordfish are large, robust fish distinguished by their very long, pointed snout, from which they take their name. Aside from this feature, they generally resemble tuna. They have a thick body that tapers considerably towards their tail fin, which is long and slender. On their back side is a large, curved dorsal fin close to their head, with two thin pectoral fins opposite it. Swordfish are olive brown on their dorsal side and white underneath. They can grow quite large, weighing as much as 100 kilograms.
